As many of you know, Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life - and the music that I sing & record is Christian Pop/Rock music, but many people don't even know what Christianity is - so, let me explain what Christianity is.

Christianity is a personal relationship with the person of Jesus Christ. It is following Him and His teachings and an asking of God to forgive all of your sins and to become your personal Savior and Lord of your life. This means that you no longer live for yourself but you live for what Jesus wants or what He would have you do. His teachings of love are found in the Bible (which is the Word of God) and the most important commands that He ever gave us were:

1. Love the Lord your God with all of your heart, with all of your soul, and with all of your strength,

2. Love your neighbor as yourself.

These two commands, said Jesus, summed up all of what the Lord God Almighty wanted us to do because if we loved God with all of our hearts, soul, and strength and our neighbor as ourselves - then, we would never sin (or disobey) God and we would never hurt, harm, or offend our neighbor (which is everyone in the world).

It is very important to know and understand the historicity of the person of Jesus of Nazareth as well as the authenticity and reliability we have in the documents of the New & Old Testaments. They are so accurate - that we have more copies & manuscripts of them then we have of so many famous books like Homer's Illiad. The evidence is overwhelming - but if you are skeptical about the historicity of Christ, then I challenge you to study about it and see the truth - that it is real! There are some wonderful books on the subject of the historicity of Christ - they are (1) Evidence That Demands a Verdict by Josh McDowell and (2) The Case For Christ by Lee Strobel.

The decision to follow Jesus is so important that it is literally THE MOST IMPORTANT decision you will ever make in your life. It determines the coarse of your future, changes and enhances the present, and cleanses and frees you from the past. God loves you and sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for your sins. All you have to do is (1) Accept Him as your Lord and Savior and ask him to forgive you of your sins, - IT IS A FREE GIFT (2) Give your life to Him - which means live for Jesus. Don't live for yourself anymore. If you acknowledge that their is a Being with infinite intelligence, power, and love - don't you think that He can make infinitely better decisions for your life than you can. Think about it.

You might say, "Well, I'm not a bad person - after all, I haven't killed anyone and I've always tried to live a good life." That is all good, but being "good" isn't how you get into Heaven and get your sins forgiven. God's law for being good to get into Heaven is that you have to be perfect - because God is a perfect Being and He demands perfection. So, you say, "Okay, well, I'm not perfect so how can I ever get into Heaven?" The answer is: Jesus Christ lead the PERFECT LIFE. He was sinless and did everything right and everything that neither you nor I could do for ourselves. So, God also demands - whenever their is sin in a person's life (disobedience to God, missing the mark) then the only payment for sin is death - or "the shedding of blood." Well, the GOOD NEWS is: Jesus Christ lead the perfect life and died in place of you and me - which God then allows Jesus to be the perfection for us!!! That is awesome news!!! Since we sin every day of our lives, we can't die enough times to cover up that sin - but Jesus Christ can and did. The only thing that Jesus desires from you is your Love and your Life. So, we give our lives freely and willingly to the Lord Jesus Christ so that He sets us free!!!

One Day, Books like these will be opened up when you are standing before the judgment seat of Christ, and there will be one book there that will be one of the most important to you called THE BOOK OF LIFE. In this book are written all of the names of the Christians of Jesus Christ. One day, you will be before God's throne and he will say to one of His Holy angels, "Is his/her name in the BOOK OF LIFE?" - And an angel will look through the BOOK OF LIFE and will either find your name written in the BOOK OF LIFE or they will not. If the angel doesn't find your name written in the BOOK OF LIFE, you will spend ETERNITY in Hell with Satan, his demons, and all of the unbelievers - and there will be pain, anguish, torment, weeping, and gnashing of teeth. It took Jesus Christ to save us from Hell - and so, don't you think it is time to make a decision for God. Make the decision for Jesus Christ. Do it Now - before it is too late!

So, if you want to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and let Him be the sacrifice for your sins, simply pray this prayer:

"Lord Jesus, I know that you are God the Son, and I ask you to please forgive me for my sins. I want you to be Lord of my life. I know that you died on the cross for my sins and I thank you with all of my heart. I know that you rose from the dead. I love you with all of my heart. Please let your Holy Spirit fill me and make me born-again. I ask this in Jesus' name, Amen."

The Lord Jesus had so many more teachings than just these - and they can all be found in the Bible. Because in Christian music, there is sometimes the lack of teaching to Christians and Non-Christians, we are going to try and break the mold here by, in this section, giving Biblical teaching, instruction, and help to both Christians and Non-Christians with different topics.
